Digital Diagnostic Action Sports

A clear status report before making structuring decisions.

The IOC is pushing digitalization. Ministries are setting up working groups on AI and fan engagement. Authorities expect roadmaps.

But in action sports, references are missing. No sector benchmark, little cross-federation feedback, and providers who don't know your constraints.

This diagnostic is built for that: to give you a reliable picture of your digital situation, compared to what is being done in your ecosystem.

What the diagnostic covers

01
Digital ecosystem mapping

Institutional website, social media, competition management tools, member relations, live streaming, data. We review everything.

02
Action sports federations and organizations benchmark

Where you stand compared to other structures in your sector, in France and internationally. Not a generic sport benchmark: a benchmark built on references you know.

03
Identification of blind spots

The topics you haven't yet addressed and that will become critical: fan engagement, digital scoring, valuation of competition data, presence on new platforms.

04
Prioritized action plan

3 to 5 concrete recommendations, ranked by impact and feasibility, with an estimate of the resources needed. A working document, not an 80-page report.

Who it's for

National and international federations of action sports or urban sports.
Regional leagues in a digital structuring phase.
Organizers of competition circuits and series.
International organizations (UCI, World Skate, FISE, FWT, ISA, WSL...) seeking an outside perspective on a specific scope.

Process

01
Framing

Initial exchange to set the scope, your priority issues and the specific constraints of your structure. Video call, 30 min.

02
Audit

Analysis of your digital ecosystem, compared to the sector benchmark. Conducted autonomously, without mobilizing your teams.

03
Debrief

Presentation of findings and recommendations. Discussion, arbitration, adjustments. Video call, 1h.

04
Deliverable

Final PDF document within 5 business days, integrating feedback from the debrief. Ready to share at federation board or steering committee.

Deductible amount: if you then engage support on implementation, the diagnostic is credited toward the engagement.

Why this diagnostic and not a classic audit

Most digital audits in sport are run by consulting firms or agencies that apply a generic grid. They benchmark your skateboard federation against football or tennis. The recommendations are disconnected from your reality.

This diagnostic comes from inside. I have worked with international action sports event organizers, built real-time scoring tools for competitions, co-founded a startup in this ecosystem. I know the players, the field constraints, the seasonal cycles, the culture of your communities.

When I tell you that a comparable federation has solved a problem you are facing, it is because I have seen how they did it.

Frequently asked questions

Does the diagnostic cover all disciplines?

Yes. My experience covers skateboarding, BMX, roller, scooter, surf, kitesurf, wakeboard, snowboard, freeride, breaking and parkour. If your discipline is within the scope of action sports or urban sports, the diagnostic will be relevant.

Do we need to mobilize our teams?

Very little. Most of the audit is conducted autonomously. I only reach out to you for the initial framing and access to certain tools if needed.

Is the deliverable usable internally?

That is its purpose. The document is structured to be presented at federation board, steering committee or shared with a service provider for quoting. No consultant jargon, just findings and actions.

What if we want to go further after the diagnostic?

The diagnostic is autonomous, it has its value as is. If you wish to go further with implementation support, we discuss it during the debrief. The diagnostic amount is deductible from the engagement.
